Small Scale Cut Flower Farm Started in 2022

Me and my dog helped outside at the farm with a handful of dahlia blooms
Meet Tessa (human) and Tater Tot (dog),

Moonlit Meadows was started due to a deep love and passion for flowers. I planted over 100 peony plants on my property in 2022, not with the intent to start flower farming but because I loved the blooms so much. Curious neighbors would see me outside all day long continuously digging and planting more plants in the ground wondering when I would put the shove down. Eventually most of my yard was replaced with rows of plants containing peonies, roses and dahlias. What started as a passion for gardening has turned into this small scale flower farm in Upper Sackville, Nova Scotia. Tater Tot enjoys napping in the flowers while I weed and follows me around the farm from task to task.

As advocates of organic and sustainable farming, Moonlit Meadows is dedicated to providing high-quality flowers grown without the use of harmful chemicals or pesticides and with the environment in mind. We believe it is our responsibility to preserve the environment for future generations, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality. By focusing on quality, sustainability, and the beauty of our flowers, we aim to make a positive impact on the environment and provide our community with something fresh and unique.

We believe in doing our part to protect the environment and that's why we are committed to following organic farming practices. We use natural amendments and compost to enrich our soil, avoiding synthetic chemicals and pesticides.
